Hi

Can anyone recommend any state primary schools around north Gloucestershire/ south Worcestershire, where we may be mowing to, with good SEND provision? Our children are both at school, so would need to enter mid year.

Thanks :-)

Hi Womble, I'm in Pershore and Abbey Park Middle School has an ASD base and other really good SEN provision - I know some children travel a long way to attend there. The First school is on the same site.

Thanks CMOTDibbler, I've read about Abbey First and Middle Schools, I like the sound of 3 tier schools. From what you've said I will look at the Middle School website and try and arrange a visit. Are there still plans to close the Middle School and go over to a 2 tier system?

The high school and the first schools in their MAT are consulting about trying to add years to them again, but theres a lot of resistance, and it got turned down before. It makes no sense to have to add classrooms when so many houses are being built locally and theyd need them to expand their current classes.
DS has been really happy at APMS, and I love the way that they do so much to really support the ASD pupils which also benefits others.
