Any good small schools for a sensitive yr 1?

My son is relatively sensitive, he doesn't do well in a noisy environment of over 30. He found it hard to concentrate. Last year he was in a state school, he didn't do well as the teacher didn't understand him at all. He's not always got lots of energy, finds writing difficult, but tries his best. We are investigating dyspraxia, as he has many of the traits. He is really friendly and sociable and has a fair amount of confidence. He's currently in an informal private school, but the classes are really small. The school is perfect for him in every way, apart from not enough children. Anyone know of a good school in Cambridge (private or state) that is relatively informal for a sensitive child? Thanks

Is it Cambridge itself you are looking for? You might have more luck in the Cambridge specific board not Cambridgeshire.
I can tell you about schools outside but not in Cambridge.

Yes, it depends how small is too small, Sancton Wood is a good independent, class sizes are max 15, they excel in providing wonderful pastoral care
