Moving to Thornton Heath (Dunheved Road South)

I am looking to move to Thornton Heath, but I heard it quite a rough area, please what you thoughts.

Don’t live in the area but have had some friends there. Yes, it has a reputation for being pretty rough. You can have a look at the Met police stats to find out some objective info about crime stats in the area.

The area is fine, been living here for two years and never had a problem. It is a bit rougher than other S London areas, but it is cheaper.

I live in Selhurst and have done for 18 months, I love it here. The area has changed a lot - my friend bought here 5 years ago and she says it is completely different.
