Support for new moms in Lewisham

Hi Everyone,

I am 33 weeks and due to have my first in January.

I live in Sydenham and would love to know more about support groups and organisations for new mums.

I have been living in London for over 3 years now with my husband but I am not from the U.K and his family are not in London, so I don't have as much of a network as I would like.

Any advise you can share about meeting other mums and helping each other would be greatly appreciated.

hi Injin, there's a great app called Mush Mums for meeting local mums and lots of mum Facebook groups in the area. There's also a local website www.happity.co.uk which lists all the baby groups around your postcode and some of those are tagged as being 'support' groups - including breastfeeding cafes, parenting support and things like that. hope that helps!
