I wonder if anybody can help me with a few suggestions. My husband has just been offered a job at Loughborough Uni and we will be moving at the end of Jan with a 3 and a 1 year old. We are currently overseas so I haven't had the chance to go to Loughborough to see. I am trying to find us somewhere to rent but am having trouble because I don't know the area at all. We would like somewhere:
Within cycling/running distance to the uni (5-6 miles ish) with a bus route for bad weather
Decent schools, preferably small village schools.
A nice nursery for the children.
I will be going back to being a SAHM until everyone is settled so a few playgroups nearby would also be great.
So far, I have looked at Hathern and Long Whatton (the school there looks right up our street) and Quorn has been recommended too.
Any local knowledge or guidance would be really great!
