Hi everyone,

Can someone point me in the right direction for mummy baby groups as I need to get out of the house and make a few new friends with babies as don't know anyone with a baby.

Just interested in any groups that are friendly to new comers

Would like a buddy during the week to go walking with or have a coffee.

Thanks in advance x

Hiya there's so much going on in Ely. Are you on FB? there's a group called ely bugs for parents of children under five and it lists lots of stuff. There is the ely city church group for under ones on Monday mornings. There are quite a few groups for toddlers and babies but these can be very busy! There's baby sensory, monkey music, hoppy feet, etc but I found them a bit of a waste of money! The ely city group was the best for us when DS was very small.

Ely city church Monday group is a good way to meet people as a first timer.

The library does baby rhyme time twice a week.

There’s a monthly meeting of the Nct (don’t need to be a member) at the Methodist church (Friday).

I found the paid for groups ok - but didn’t meet anyone new there, just went with people I met elsewhere.

Look on Facebook for Ely bugs and the isle Of Ely Nct pages :)
