Opinions on Wilburton

Hi everyone,

We're considering going to look at a house in Wilburton later this month - can anyone tell me anything about the village itself?

It is a bit of a commuter village, it is very busy during rush hour because of the route down to Cottenham and into Cambridge. There is a shop though which is something. It has always felt like an en-route village rather than a destination in itself iyswim. I don't know what the community is like.

I don't mean commuter village, I mean one that people commute through rather than commute from although they do that too.

It is a village that people drive through, generally at speed, there’s an ace fireworks and beer festival
