It was a fun afternoon meeting everyone. I didn't think anyone seemed nervous. There was no wittering ☺. Would be lovely to do it again in January.

Hi everyone, hope you're all ready for Christmas?! I've been on 3 xmas nights out and one more to go. And heading to the Manchester markets this weekend for mulled wine

I'm all done except for my sister and her husband. They are the sort of people who have everything, and very particular tastes. If they want it, they have it already. Gah!

How's everyone else getting on with xmas plans?

That's when I finish/go back! I managed not to offend anyone on both my nights out which is a win for me. I become, erm, truthful when drunk, but I'm learning! Actually that's not true, there was one but he deserved it.

My plans are good, I've got everyone's gifts, need to wrap and distribute sharpish as I'm off to a Christmas Cottage!!! Well a cottage at Christmas.

I have also not eaten any festive food because I am an absolute saint. Or, terrified of putting on the 5lb I've just lost, you pick.

Anyone else all done?

nightingale you social butterfly, hope your film night goes well.

Love the sound of a getaway at Christmas kleptronic and wish we could do it again but couldn't leave MIL on her own now. We buggered off to Paris just before Xmas one year and were vague about our return. Best short break. Christmas day just the two of us. Last minute, no excessive planning and the place was magical. Our little chatterbox would not let us get away with that anymore!

I finished work on Friday and am off til 4th. Had 3 work events which were ok. My mum's group never got round to fixing a date for a catch up so have that to look forward to as well as our January meet up. I will do my wrapping tomorrow and that's me done.
