I meant good high schools! Not gig! Also should add we are currently catchment for Drummond and don’t doubt its a great school but we need to move. Thinking Currie balerno, leith, portobello, but not set on an area.

We have had very good experience of Currie, although the buildings are pretty dated now the ethos and achievements of the pupils is excellent. Does well for all abilities but high rates of staying on for sixth year and good exam results as well as high rates of " positive destinations" for those not so academic. Struggling with falling rolls due to demographics though which is starting to impact range of subjects and numbers of staff but still much better In both of these than nearby Balerno.

3 nations thank you that is so good to hear. Currie seems to have a great community which is what we are looking for.
