Childminder recommendations

Hi

I am looking for a childminder to look after my 3 year old a few mornings a week and then take her to her afternoon nursery place. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions about where I could start looking for someone? Thanks!

No one knows where you live! Each childminder will have a different nursery that they will go to. The council can provide a list of Childminders in each area - find out what your catchment school is and ask based on that.

Try the Care Inspectorate or Scottish Childminding Association websites. There is childcare.co.uk as well, but it costs to subscribe

Oh woops! Saves me right for not double checking before posting... We are in the James Gillespie's catchment and the attached nursery... I'll check with the council for a list of childminders.
