Save Papas Park!

Papas Park, a community playground and sports pitch in Pulross Road, SW9 is under threat of closure. Lambeth Council scrapped our maintenance grant last year
(see www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/popular-childrens-playground-faces-closure-as-council-pulls-funds/), and now the playground equipment and surfacing is about to become too unsafe to use. We urgently need £50,000 to replace equipment, maintain the park and pass our next inspection. Otherwise the park will be too unsafe to open. We've already raised £25,000 through the passion and generosity of local people, who have donated towards our crowdfunding drives or paid voluntary membership fees, but this obviously only takes us half way towards our total.
