Woking primary schools

Can anyone help. We live in Horsell but will not get in to the village school or goldsworth. Can anyone recommend any other Woking primary schools, or any others in the general area that we may get in to? We have a quiet daughter who will be young in her year group. Thank you.

What year group? Is it an in year application? If so you need to phone the council and see which ones have spaces first.

THank you. We are the other side of Horsell, not in the village and for at least the past 5+ years woild not have got in. Excluding the village school and goldsworth, I just wondered if anyone could tell me about the other primaries in Woking and which people like.

We like Barnsbury. It doesn't have the best academic results but it is a happy, inclusive school and the results are steadily improving under the new head - KS1 results in particular.

Not ideally located for you though, and you may live too far away - it was over subscribed last year I believe.

Just looking at the way reception places were allocated last year - it's worth looking at The Oaktree in Knaphill which I think would be fairly easy for you to get to, has an excellent reputation and appears to have been undersubscribed last year - maybe they increased their PAN from 60 to 90 last year?
