Childminders or small nurseries in CB4

Can anyone recommend a childminder in CB4, please? Ideally I would like someone who has a coworker or assistant, as I like the idea of an extra adult being around (and a few more children would be nice too).

I would also consider a small nursery if anyone has recommendations. Actually I can't decide between the two so something with the best of both worlds would be perfect

I'm looking at TinyTots so if anyone has experience (or knows people who have used them) I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I can recommend Snap nursery on Chapel Street CB4. Worth a visit. V friendly and accommodating.

There is a very long standing childminder in a road off the Fen Rd. Izaak Walton or Cheney.

I use a childminder on campkin road though she works alone.

I went to visit TinyTots. Very professional set up, looked like a good compromise between a childminder and a nursery. However I was not convinced by their ability to run around after small children, and wondered if there was perhaps a bit too much admin and not enough child caring going on.

Thank you, very interesting! They don't have a part-time place at the moment (only full time) so I haven't visited, but if I do get chance to visit I'll bear your feedback in mind. Did you go for a childminder or nursery in the end?

We've got a nursery place but I've just been having a wobble about it. Hopefully I'll get over it!

I went for a childminder, but on the other side of the river. I also had a wobble about a pre-booked nursery place, and I feel much happier with the childminder. I hope you manage to find someone. I used childcare.co.uk and the council website list of registered childminders.
