Best cinema near Folkestone?

I've heard about Silver Screen but you can't book online and I don't fancy hovering around in the evening to see if I can take the DCs to Thor Ragnarok or not!

Which is the best multi screen cinema in the area, would it be Ashford?

Broadstairs?

The Cineworld in Ashford is fine - has at least 12 screens, you can book online etc. Just off junction 9 of the M20 in Eureka park.

Silver Screen should be fine though, if it's otherwise better for you. They've streamlined payments so you don't queue for long and I've never found it full up (even not for The Force Awakens on opening weekend...). Also, a lot cheaper!

Oh, ok thank you!

I'll probably go to see Thor at the SS myself at some point in the week, if I can get a babysitter (mine are a couple of years off being allowed to come to a 12A, though I'm sure they'd like it).

Go for Silver Screen! it's never full and you don't have to queue for long. It's reasonably priced and has a nicer clientele than Ashford.

I find Cineworld more comfortable but Folky has its own restaurants and cafes nearby if you want to eat too
Googies does a cinema deal, burger and cinema for £10 BUT the service is always slow. Excellent food but I assume tiny kitchen so allow plenty of time

Hasn't googies closed now?

TaurielTest · 08/11/2017 11:59

Googies closed just last week :(

Silver Screen does good £2.50 pocket money matinees at 10.30.
No trailers or ads so don't arrive late. Lego Ninjago Movie this weekend!
