Hi,
First time here so pls let me know if I’m doing this wrong :) We’re moving to Birmingham as my fiancée has a got a job in the area. Early days but we’d really like my step-daughter to go to a primary prep school that would prep her for the King Edwards High School, Edgbaston entrance exam and other great schools in the area. We’ve been saving long and hard for this so any recommendations would be most appreciated. Thank you :)

Well, only choice of Hallfield, Blue Coat or Norfolk House, and I'm not all that sure about destinations for Norfolk House tbh.
How old is she? Is she registered and on the waiting list for either?

Sorry, I missed you said EHS exam too. Well BC and H will prep for EHS 11+ entrance, as will EHS lower, but EHS lower won't prep for KEHS.

What other "great schools in the area" did you have in mind?

GreenGoth89 · 13/10/2017 21:20

What about university school? That is meant to be a very good school.

Do you have something to base that on at all? No-one there has sat any GCSEs yet, and I have heard really not very good things about behaviour.

UoB is a secondary anyway, so no use to prepare OP's sdd for Exam at 10/11

How is the Norfolk House School? We've gotten the offer. However, it looks in a tiny space. Also, I hardly to find out any review regarding it.
