On these three-day courses we will brainstorm the kind of questions which are answered in stories and help you to find the question that interests you the most. We aim to get kids writing confidently in a relaxed and creative environment. This workshop comes packed with ideas on how to create three-dimensional, dynamic characters; how best to make settings and places come alive using descriptive language; how to plan a coherent plot and how to alter your writing based on the speed and tempo of the story. The course will take place between 10am and 1pm from October 25th-27th at the Neighbourhood Church in Beckenham, and will be taught by our brilliant teacher Emma Gosnell, a former features editor at The Sunday Times, who has a wealth of experience in creative writing and education.
