Chipperfield -village life as a SAHM?

Hi there,
We're considering moving to Chipperfield with one 2 yo, and another on the way. I'm a SAHM and plan to be until the youngest has started school. While I LOVE the idea of village life, I'm worried about being isolated as a SAHM in a village. Are there many SAHM's in Hertfordshire villages, or Chipperfield in particular?

I live in Chipperfield! Plenty of SAHMs (although I'm not one of them). We absolutely love it here. The school is great, the common and woods are beautiful. There are a couple of play groups in the village and lots in the villages surrounding us too. Plenty of mums and dads about. Watford and Hemel are only a short drive away if you fancy decent shops etc. I've found it really easy to make friends.

Hmm I'm not sure. I didn't do NCT. One of my friends did but I think she had to drive somewhere for meet ups.
