It's competition time again on Mumsnet Local and this month we are giving away three beautiful books by award-winning children's author Giles Andreae.

To enter simply answer the question below:

What are you looking forward to most this Autumn?

Be it kicking up leaves in the woods or attending the Llanerchaeron Apple Festival, we'd love to hear what makes this time of year special for you.

The winner will be selected at random from all the entries received. Competition closes at Midnight on Monday 16th October 2017, and the winner will be announced here the next day. The winner will be contacted by private message and the prize will be posted.

I'm looking forward to pumpkins carving and having them sit in my window. I love the weird smell of the little candle toasting the insides of the pumpkin xx

We love autumn, It’s the perfect combination of chilly mornings, cosy afternoons and bonfire scented evenings, and there’s always something to be excited about. For some reason to me getting all snuggly and cosy with my babies in ridiculously cute pyjamas and woollen blankets is more appealing than stripping bare for all to see on the beach in Summer.

Watching my little girl collect yellow leaves in the garden - yellow us her favourite colour!

Also... Stews, drinking hot chocolate and family snuggles cuddled up under a blanket Smile ... the simple things.

I love autumn walks in our local woodland, kicking the leaves and hearing them crunch under our feet - perfect scene too when the suns rays peep through the trees
