Secondary schools for dd

Anyone have any experience of secondary schools in south Liverpool? Was looking at holly lodge but reviews on line suggest bullying is a huge issue. Have done open evenings everywhere in a 4 mile radius, but would like to know others experience.

Hi is there anyone waiting on blue coat results? Or anyone looking at st hildas?

We didn't look at Bluecoat but I know most of my daughter's class sat the exam and I believe the results are out on Friday. Best of luck if you're waiting!

We really liked Hilda's and all the parents we know who viewed it liked it too.

Did your child do the exam for st Hildas or go through the church route? St Hildas is our next choice as my son really liked it too! He done ok on exam but not sure if enough :/

She did do the exam for St.Hildas but didn't get a high enough score to be offered one of the aptitude for languages places. Although over 700 kids sat that exam so it was very competitive! It'll have to be the church route and hope for the best!

My son got 94th i don't think he will get in with that :/ I can't believe how many done the exam!

Wow, he did really well! I think some of the kids offered places at St Hilda's will take Bluecoat and Belvedere places too. Fingers crossed for you.
