Young(ish!) mums in baildon?

I'm 24 and finding I'm a young mum at the school my son is at and don't really know how to speak to the other mums.

Anyone else around my age from bradford?

Does your school have a PTA? They are great for meeting people!

Just recently joined the pta yes! I'm excited to get involved!

Which school is he at? I'm in baildon and know a fair few mum's!

Ah ok! I've just dropped my niece off there, she's in year 1. My youngest is at glenaire.

I think they have a school parents facebook page/group up there. Might be worth joining? Although last time i nosied they were moaning about dog poo so not sure how much fun it is!

My children go there but not in nursery plus i'm old! Most of the years have their own facebook group, if pm nursery doesn't have one maybe you could set one up?

I don't have Facebook! I'm out of the loop hahaha

If only there was a whatsapp group. I might suggest it (if I ever get the confidence to ha)

I'm quite shy/nervy and I definitely feel the majority of the parents look at me a bit differently - covered in tattoos/piercings and I definitely look younger than my age.
I'm riddled with anxiety so that doesn't help!

I'm in my 40s the other mum's looked lots younger than me! I did look for the site of 'shitgate' this morning but I couldn't find it. I only agreed to do the school run to see the magical spot!

Hahaha it was a fbook argument about dog poo! It ended up with some of the posters deciding that it had been placed thete deliberately in some odd dog egg conspiracy! It was brilliant!
