Hi, my name is Richard and I have recently enrolled as a student on the Birkbeck MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents. One aspect of this course is an Infant Observation. I am therefore looking for a willing family in North London (Mill Hill area) who will kindly allow me to observe their newly born infant in the family home. The observations will be one hour, every week for the first year of the child’s life.

The purpose of undertaking a baby observation as part of the Birkbeck course is to help me, as a student, to learn about very early development and the baby’s growing relationships from the direct experience of observing.

If you are interested, please contact me to find out more.

I can be contacted via mumsnet.

This website provides information on the course I am undertaking:

Many thanks,

Richard
