Estrogen level higher in IVF

Hi, I am new to this IVF thing and to this forum as well and really don’t know that is this right place to ask such a question. I recently went through the first stage of IVF and had to freeze the eggs as I need to under hysteroscopy and laparoscopy to remove fibroids blocking the tube. Today I went for my day 3 blood work, a nurse told me that my estrogen level is higher 128 and that I need to come back tomorrow for the tests and ultrasound. Anyone knows why they would consider this an issue?

Hi, thanks for posting. I was really in stress and thinking over and over. My doc. did not tell me what the reason could be. Thanks really helpful going for the test tomorrow and let see what happens. Thanks again.

Hi, read your post lately. Hope your blood test and ultrasound reports are good. I too had the same issue 3 years ago and when undergoing IVF my estrogen levels soared it was a round 3000 due to which my cycle was cancelled and then later again had IVF which was a successful one. My specialist told that reasons for high levels are due to the drugs used in stimulation process. But the level is also affected by the foods eaten or environmental toxins. Fingers crossed for you.
