Tennis in/near Ipswich

DH (65) needs to play tennis 3-5 times a week as part of his Physio Therapy

We have looked at Ipswich Sports Club & it is extortionately/eye wateringly expensive

While I understand I will probably need to pay more than we did previously (approx £6 a week) I can't afford upwards of £40 a week.....(£38 membership a month plus £5-£7 a session ) unless I am misunderstanding the pricing structure

So is there tennis going on in village halls/smaller sports clubs/school buildings that is cheaper?

Also, It might be worth looking into kesgrave and woodbridge. Both have outdoor courts and leisure centres.

I'm not sure of the costs, though.

Thanks I did find that & he is going to the free tennis at Christchurch Park - yesterday after some serious googleing plus a chat at a shupermarket with a very nice couple I found roundwood who are hoping to replace their courts with recycled plastic bottles (which I love!) & one in Westbury Road which has some daytime session

Each are about £100 a year so much more affordable
