I'm really excited to have been appointed as the new Local Editor Exeter. It feels very apt to start the same week that many of us are sending our kids off to school, nursery and playgroups - work in my case for my eldest.
So, I'm Lisa and I live in Exeter with my partner, two kids and a cheeky labradoodle.
We both work hard, and like most families like to make the most of our weekends. We're a lucky bunch being in the midst of so many places to go and things to do with the kids locally.
We love to be out and about and it's great to try new things. We will be taking full advantage of looking through all the events listed on the What's On Page - www.mumsnet.com/local/exeter/events/all
