Cooking classes for 11 year old?

Looking for cooking classes for my 11yo in central Edinburgh. I have Googled endlessly and the only options are for younger kids or the overpriced Edinburgh New Town Cookery School which doesn't seem to run anything except one or two day workshops at £65 a pop. Looking for a weekly class that is practical and doesn't cost 10 times the price of any other after school class or club. TIA

New Town Cookery School is great though! DS and I had a brilliant time. It was a treaty day for us though, not really a activity like any other.

If you are on the West of Edinburgh there is a cookery school at Kirkliston, I think.
