I have always taught my children to be exceptional and not to be ordinary. What are thoughts on this subject?

I have always taught my exceptional child to try to be ordinary because it's just fair on the rest of the poor little buggers otherwise.

My thoughts are that as you have, based on your posts, apparently moved house from Richmond eastwards to Hackney and then most of the way west again to Kensington & Chelsea in the space of half an hour you are pretty exceptional yourself.
