Adoption information events/resources

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knows the best way to get entry information about adoption in the Gloucestershire area.

Would you contact the council? Go through independent NGO? I'm trying to look for some kind of evening talk type event.

Would also love any reading recommendations, both from functional/process perspective and inspiring stories/journeys etc.

This is all completely new to us, late 30s life junction has crept up & it's about time we worked out what we want to do. This is part of my starting plan!

Gloucestershire County Council are having an adoption day this month. :) sounds a good place to start!
