Hi,
We currently live in a flat in Bromley north and are looking to buy a house in Hayes.
We don't have a big budget for the area, but are looking for a 3 bed. We haven't lived in Bromley long so don't really know the area that well.
We have 1 toddler and are planning on another 1 or 2 babies eventually if we are lucky!
A couple of the ones we've seen are on George Lane by Hayes primary school. They don't seem to be being sold and I'm confused as to why. To me it seems a great location, near old hayes, near the George and the school. Am I missing something?
Is Hayes primary not a great school or is the road not great or something?
I know the market is slow at the moment so it could just be that.
We've also seen a nice place on Chatham Avenue if anyone has an opinion on that area too.
Thanks in advance for any advice, would much appreciate it!! Smile

Hayes Primary is a great school. George Lane gets very congested at school drop off/pick up time so personally I'd choose Chatham Ave over George Lane. The top end (nearer the farm) is still very close to Old Hayes and The George. (Chatham Ave is quite long and the other end is closer to Pickhurst Infants/Juniors than Hayes Primary - also v good schools.)

Thanks very much for your response ten thousand! I did think it would get busy but wasnt sure if it would bother me too much If I was walking to school anyway. I suppose it could become frustrating at times! We are looking at a property on Chatham today so fingers crossed it's nice.
