Waiting list for ESMS

Hi all. After a lot of thought and various contributing factors my DH and I have decided to send our children to private schools and are very keen on ESMS. After looking on their website it does state the vast majority of children starting at nursery successfully move onto Primary one, without the need for assessment. So, I applied for a place at the nursery for August 2018 and have been told that I am now on the waiting list.

Has anyone else been placed on a waiting list for ESMS? And how likely is it that a place will become available?

Any thoughts/ experiences would be appreciated

Places are allocated in September/October 2017 for ESMS nursery entry 2018 and it may well be that people hold until they know if they have been accepted for Academy/Watson's/Heriots and the more spots become available. Is it for 3 plus or 4 plus? Have you registered your other children? You can register at birth.

Thank you for your reply, I guess it's just a waiting game - fingers crossed. I haven't registered my second child as I wasn't aware you could so early on, so will definitely register him if DS is successful! Thanks again
