Recommendations for Fun Days Out

Hi,
We've just had a great day out to Hobbledown in Epsom. The kids had a great time and lots to do (similar to Godstone Farm). Does anyone have any other recommendations for fun outdoor days like this?

Tons of stuff more local or into London, what ages are your children and what do they like doing? Immediate thoughts with general interest are places like Chartwell and Ightham Mote where they have nature trails and spotting. Leeds Castle (one entrance lasts a year), Chislehurst Caves, Downe House, Southbank entertainers (bubble wizards, magicians, statues etc) - they are actually hugely entertaining for the sake of a donation of your choice.
