Music classes - 4/5 year old

DS been going to Monkey Music for years and loves it, but we have come to the end of the syllabus and I am now looking for another music class more suitable for a 4/5 year old.

Friend recommended St Marys Music School but it looks really serious. Has anyone been to classes there? Other option I've found is Edinburgh Young Musicians but know absolutely nothing about them / if they are any good.

Any thoughts or recommendations really welcome.

Julie

It's a good question - is it time to pick an instrument and start getting lessons? I believe piano lessons can start around 5 or perhaps 7 is a better bet.

Try Portobello Music School. All my kids have gone there.
They do creative music classes until p3 then you can choose an instrument. The kids get to try out and look round all the instruments towards the end of p2 so they can see what they might like.

Edinburgh Young Musicians are very good.
