Primary Schools in Huntingdon

Hi

I am after some advice as we have recently moved to the Huntingdon area (near the hospital) and our DD will be starting primary school Sept 2018. Our local primary school is Cromwell academy but unfortunately it has a very bad Ofsted report.

Does anyone know of another primary school in the area which has a good name ?

Maybe Cromwell will improve but I would prefer not to take a risk or am I being silly.

I don't think I would worry too much on the ofstead report.

If it's your closest school then your DD will get to make friends with children that live near you & you should get to meet some local parents. Both of which in my opinion rate higher than how a school has scored in mandatory tests.
Something else to factor in if you choose a different school in Huntingdon is the traffic, it can be horrendous when the A14 grinds to a halt.
