Hi, we're planning on relocating from the north west to Herts. Have narrowed the search down and have shortlisted kings Langley and Hitchin - prioritising fast and frequent train services to London (dp works nr London Bridge), good schools, decent town and nice countryside around. House prices important too - have stepped away from Berko and St Albans on that basis! Any advice please on which you'd recommend given the reality of schools (not just rightmove ofsted checker) and commute (reliability of services, any chance of parking at station etc). We have two children aged 6 and 8.
