Does anyone have any comments/thoughts about Meadlands primary school and any nearby nurseries in Ham? (Meadowview is one I have been looking at)
We are thinking of moving to Ham, so I would appreciate any comments.

I have a child at each.

I think Meadowview is a lovely nursery, it has very caring staff and there is a lot of stability - many have been there for at least the 5 years since my first child joined. I don't think they particularly push children at pre school age though - the nursery attached to Meadlands school appears to be more academic, but I'm choosing to keep my younger child at Meadowview.

I'm really impressed so far with Meadlands. I think the head is a real inspiration. She ensures there is a very well rounded education. For example, my child does yoga and dance as well as "standard" PE, she helps look after chickens and will be learning sign language at an after school club next term. As well as this, the schools SATs results have been impressive the last couple of years, and even at an early age they are pushing my child to always work hard. It is a small school, everyone knows everybody - I guess this could be a good or bad thing.

I won't hesitate sending my second child there when the time comes. But I must stress I haven't experience of any other schools, they may all offer everything Meadlands does.

Any other comments regarding Meadlands? I’m looking to send my little girl there from November to their nursery and would love any comments.
