Broughton primary

Hello folks - wondering if anyone currently has small people attending Broughton primary school? It's our catchment primary for my daughter who starts school in 2018 but there don't seem to be many recent experiences of it on here that I can see. We will go and do the tour (and usefully it's across the road from the nursery my son goes to) but just wanted to see if people had direct experience as this can be very helpful! Thanks x

My DD was there last year for a few months and I wouldn't recommend it. Bullying / singling out in younger years and school too big to even notice. A boy unzipped her dress from top to bottom in the playground and they dismissed it as him being boisterous. She was invited to a party and was the only one not given a party bag because they had 'ran out'. Sounds silly but it really upset her at the time due to the problems she was having. I saw parents screaming swear words at their kids across the playground more than once. Eugh.

St Mary's up the road is where I would go given the choice, Broughton was the only one with a space at the time
