Midwife - Edinburgh

Hello,

I am planning to apply for the midwifery course at Napier starting in September 2018. I would like to meet with a midwife or two (if possible) prior to completing my ucas form to get their experiences of the job (good and bad
). Are there any midwifes out there who would be willing to meet me for a quick coffee? I'm buying of course and I'll throw a bottle of wine in too. Thank you in advance for your help. L

I'm not a midwife but I have very frontline experience with Midwife's, both good and bad experiences. I have two children that are still with me and I have also lost a child. I feel it's so important for Midwife's today to understand what is going on inside when you go onto further pregnancys after a pregnancy or infant loss. If you don't get anyone else you can chat to I would be happy to talk through my experiences with you as they have left a mark on my life.
