Moving to Street?

Hello. Just looking for some advice on moving within Somerset. Myself and my boyfriend currently live in Bridgwater and we are thinking of moving out of the area but not too far. Street is appealing to us. We don't know much about the area though so wondered if anybody could shed some light on good and bad areas / roads to live. We don't have children at the moment but we hope that we will in the future and we are bearing that in mind in our house hunt. We are in our mid twenties and don't have a huge budget (around £200,000) but living in a nice neighbourhood is important to us. Thank you in advance!

Sorry I dont have any practical advice, we have just moved to Somerset and Street was one of the few towns I liked. We wanted something bigger than a village but smaller than Bridgewater/Taunton and there werent many places we liked. I prefer Wells, but its more expensive.
Good luck with yor house hunting!

Sunnyshores how are you finding Street?
We're thinking of relocating in the new year and Street is top of the list for the same reasons you've mentioned.
Many thanks

No actual bad areas in Street. It is a lovely place to live. I was brought up there and still visit frequently, as my family all still live there and would never leave.
