Bike shop recommendations

HI guys,

My bike was stolen yesterday so I'm in the market for a new one. I'm doing a race from London to Birmingham end of sept so I need something that'll cope!
Any independent bike shop recommendations in Cambridge, plse?

Life On a Bike on Mill Road are great, helpful lovely guys, not sure if they do racing bikes tho?

I bought mine from the bike shop at the station and my daughters from their other outlet under the Grand Arcade, would recommend both. They have good deals too, got £100 off my bike.

The guys/gals at Rutland Cycles at the station are great. The guys/gals at the other branch at the Grand Arcade...not so much. Let's put it this way: the station branch fixed the appalling bodge job the grand arcade branch did of my last so-called "premium service" for free; it took them three hours and they removed the old headset ring, "missed" by the other branch, that was so rusty and filthy it might have been a Viking artefact.

I bought my bike from Rutland Cycles at Histon. I got good service and lots of helpful advice.
