Regular lurker on mumsnet and just seen a site thread encouraging mners to go over to their local so thought I'd say hello!

Am near medway so happy to have a good rant about the new Strand parking charges!!

Hey Koalas I too am near (in fact technically in) Medway.

I hope not WhiteHart I went to Shorne Woods and got caught out as didn't expect there to be parking charges. I rely on places like Capstone and Riverside so will be gutted if they essentially charge us to enjoy green spaces. I appreciate they want to encourage travel by public transport but that's not possible half the time, especially with kids and bags in tow!

I'm up on the Hoo Peninsula but could venture down to the towns without too much issue.....

As long as there is alcohol i will traipse just about anywhere.
