I am a counsellor and Director of oxford Counselling Centre, I am also a mum to a twelve year old girl who just does not fit into secondary education. Home schooling is not an option due to my work commitments and my daughters total refusal to be taught by me! I imagine there are other people in a similar situation?
In September I am starting a secondary education project based in East Oxford that will focus on the mental well being of the students, it will offer a therapeutic education approach, delivered in small group by tutors and teacher who are experienced in alternative learning.
