Hello wonderful mumsnetters, I need your help!
Our DS aged 13 has been offered a place at Ewell Castle starting Yr 9 in September. He potentially is leaving all his old school mates behind as is likely to be the only one moving. We live in SW18, his school is in SW19.
Does anyone know much about the secondary and the make up of kids there? He's a bit quirky (not a footy fan or gamer). Are there arty types at the school?
I'm concerned that he will move there and a) everyone will know each other already, b) no one will live anywhere near us and c) they will all be sport mad and he will be on his tod.
Any, all thoughts both good and bad please would really help us and him to remain positive about the move.
