HI, anyone know of any good restaurants for an evening meal for two tired parents but not including our son? it seems so hit and miss even reading review sites.

What's your budget like? And style of food you fancy? I can recommend lots of places, but with more info likely to be somewhere you enjoy!

hi, nothing with chili in as my wifes alergic. Up to £40 all in for budget.
other than that we like all sort but not the waffle house

Try bishops. Small and intimate. Good food. Cracking priced menu at lunch time especially.

I like The Wine Cellar, just off Market Square, but across a small courtyard and down steps, so a bit of a well-kept secret. I took DH and he liked it too. Good home-cooked food, varied - particularly the specials, at reasonable prices.
