Hello,
My family is moving to London over summer and because my new job requires a lot of travelling, I need to place my 8 year old in a co-ed boarding school that is strong academically and plays soccer (football) as a competitive sport. Any ideas? I dont mind if the location is anywhere in England as long as the school has a good reputation

Holmewood House, Tunbridge Wells?
Vinehall?
There are others in the SE but I think you may like these.

Thanks so much for sharing Maledictis. I will look into them. He loves football so much and already plays for the local club and school team

That's great and both of these schools do have a good interest in competitive sport. There are others. But I'm assuming you live in Westminster and being on a railway line which comes into Charing Cross may prove useful when your boy turns 13 if you decide to keep with the boarding idea. These two schools are also good on other cocurricular areas and also are academically good.
