Hi mums... moving to the newhaven area in Edinburgh and wondering which school mums will recommend; Trinity or Broughton. Thanks

Which catchment are you in? There are a few changes going on in that area.

Am at newhaven road. Broughton is my catchment but wanted to consider Trinity to but wanted to make an informed decision.

It would depend what class your DC is in. If it is P1 it would be very unlikely you would get an out of catchment place at Trinity. Further up the school is more likely.
Trinity is a good school but I have no direct experience of Broughton. IMO they are both big, mixed schools and there's probably not much between them.
Hopefully somebody with experience of Broughton will be along soon.

Generally heard better things about Trinity too.
