Hello! I'm a single mom who will be moving to Cambridge in August with two rowdy boys. Ones 15 and the other ten.
They will be attentdong Landmark International School. Which by the way is quite a brilliant place with incredible teachers. We also really liked Sancton Wood but decided for the kids to adjust Landmark might be a better choice.
Now I need to put the little one in Parkside Fed. He will be going to grade six from September. How soon do I start the process? Since my niece is already there and it's a hugely oversubscribed school. And where to live?
Currently have options at The Belvedere off Hills Road (bus route for Lanmark is Newmarket Road, Main Market Square, Hills Road, Cherry Hinton)
The Marque, two bedroom that overlook road and Hills Road sixth form. Not exciting view.
Riverside place called Bartholomews Court,
St Mathews Garden which is lovely but also a little dry.
And am going to see a flat in Rusat road right now.
How soon do I need to lock this down. Or can I come in August and look again.
I'm only nervous because some one told me for the little one to get a place at Parkside I have to hurry up.
Am utterly overwhelmed.
Would appreciate any advice.
