Hi,
I'm looking to move out of London (currently live near Tower Bridge), and we have found a lovely house in Stoneleigh, about 10 minutes from the station. We're mainly moving to get some more space and better schools for my little boy.
I'd be really, really grateful for some guidance and advice!! We have visited the area and it seems wonderful and friendly, but what's it really like to live there? We will be commuting in to London in the mornings (where my son will go to nursery) - is it hard to get on the trains? Can you get a seat even? I know the station doesn't have a lift so expect to take little one in a baby carrier for a while (oh my poor back!!).
I grew up in a small town with a really strong community spirit so was hoping for something like that.... cricket clubs and village events and things.
Many many thanks!
Vickie
