Toddler & baby groups/classes this summer

Any recommendations for toddler or baby classes or meetups running over the summer, please?

DH and I are moving to Cambridge next month and will be in need of friends and fun activities for our toddler (almost 3) and three-month-old baby.

We'll be based in Newnham initially, so especially interested in things happening in central Cambridge or to the south of the city.

Any ideas gratefully received - many thanks!

The baby and toddler group in Girton tends to stay open through the school holidays.
It would not be too hard for you to get to from Newnham by bike or car but too far to walk.
It is called Bobtails and runs Monday and Thursday mornings from 9.30 - 11.30 am in the Pavilion in Girton. No need to pre-book or commit to regular attendance and it is a really friendly playgroup.
It has the added bonus of being next to the recreation ground with a play area for children and the (free) car park.
It is worth looking on Facebook - 'Bobtails Baby and Toddler Group' to confirm that it is open before coming. - it doesn't run on election days (building is also the Polling station) or if the lady who runs it is on holiday.
