Hi! I live in a little village in Cambridgeshire and am looking to make new freinds. My social circle has changed and I no longer feel I belong there. I work full time and have a 4 year old son. Any advice where to go? Or start even! Thankyou x

Hi,

I've shared this on our Facebook page MumsnetCambridgeshire

Two villages away from me then! We might already know each other IRL...

What sort of things do you like doing?

georgienurse · 02/05/2017 15:17

Well nothing exciting! Gardening, baking, reading and cross stitch. My time is taken up with mum stuff and going to work! I would like freinds that can go to each other's house and have play dates and tea!I'm 34 !

I'm guessing your son is starting school this Sept - I have DS in yr 2 and DD in Reception. You'll probably find that things change again once school starts - playdates with classmates, chatting with other mums if you're doing the school run etc. I've only just started doing that myself as my DC used to go to before/after school club, so I never really met any other parents before now!

Meanwhile, I like gardening, reading, baking and running, and would be happy to meet for a coffee if you would like to. (Bit like OLD - I am older than you at 43, and we might not hit it off, but worth a try?)

Aww, this is such a lovely message and I'm hoping that is the case! He is starting school in September and I am planning to have some ivf for another. Running! I'm so overweight that im actually doing the cambridge diet at the moment, hence baking to feed others! My name is Georgina x
