I am looking for a local ballet school for my 7 year old (only just wants to start now) and to join the brownies but I am not having any luck finding spaces for either or a direct email/phone number to contact local brownie packs. Any help appreciated thanks (applied through girl guiding website a couple of months ago and yielded nothing so far)

what sort of ballet do you want?
RAD Ballet, exams/syllabus

or
a dance school that does shows, offers ballet, tap, modern etc...?

can't help with brownies. expect long waiting lists...

KMFTW1 thanks for the heads up re-brownies. I didn't think of the exam thing. I haven't asked my daughter yet (she's out at the moment) but I'm guessing she's hoping to go straight to prima ballerina stage ;) after we watched some ballet ( film of a performance at ROH) together. I would think she would be happy either way. I am nervous that she is starting it late compared to a lot of children that it will be hard to find a space

It shouldn't be hard to find a space for ballet as kids come and go all the time.

Age 7 isn't TOO late, many will have been doing it a few years but if she accepts that she'll catch up in time.
You could look at somewhere like dansicality, their ballet isn't too serious and their shows are fun. They offer tap, modern, singing too.
