moving to carlisle

hi, starting work in carlisle once the paperwork gets sorted. dont know the area though. have seen 2 looks like ex-council flats one elsmere way and one on sunnymeade. any advice about the areas or definete no-no! greatly appreciated

The Elsmere way one looks lovely!
It's just gone on rightmove today. The area Morton Park is a very nice estate too.
Sunnymede's ok but that area of town can be a bit rough further down the road

Are you buying straight off? We live in a bit of Upperby which is generally not great, but the actual cul-de-sac bit we're on is grand. I think there are quite a lot of bits like that!

Nice city to live in generally though!
